HASTINGS  (AP) - An 18-year-old Burnsville man has been sentenced to 60 days in juvenile detention for a car crash that killed two teens and injured two others.

The driver, who was 17 at the time of the crash last year, was also ordered to serve 10 days in jail on the anniversary of the crash in 2014 and 2015.

The teen pleaded guilty earlier this month in Dakota County to criminal vehicular homicide and two other charges. A juvenile petition alleged the teen was driving in a "grossly negligent manner" last August when he lost control of his car and it rolled six or seven times down a hill in Burnsville and landed on Interstate 35.

Sixteen-year-old Frederick Alexander and 17-year-old Alesha Roehl were killed and two other teens were injured.
