15-Year-Old Hurt in Snowmobile Crash

ALBANY TOWNSHIP - A 15-year-old boy was hurt in a snowmobile crash.

The Stearns county sheriff's department says the incident happened at about 4:00 p.m. on Saturday in Albany Township.

Adam Vowles and a friend were riding in the area of North Albany Lake when the friend stopped to wait for Vowles.  Vowles wasn't able to stop in time and slid into the back of the first snowmobile, catching his leg between the two.

Vowles' parents took him to St. Cloud Hospital.
