Sexual Assault Advocates Host I Love Consensual Sex Party

ST. CLOUD - Community members showed their support (Friday) yesterday at the Red Carpet Event Center for the 2nd Annual Consent Event.

The Central Minnesota Sexual Assault Center hosted the I Heart Consensual Sex Party to raise money for sexual assault awareness.

Central Minnesota Sexual Assault Center advocate Sarah Colford said that she got the idea for the party from a similar one in Duluth.

Colford says that the goal for the night is to bring awareness to the issue of sexual assault, but also to show others that have been victimized that things will get better.

Supporters helped fundraise through silent auctions. Proceeds will go to the Central Minnesota Sexual Assault Center to help victims of sexual assault.
