The St. Cloud Blue Sox 12AAA team won the MSF State Tournament over the weekend in Owatonna.

The Sox erased a 7-0 deficit in their opening game against Albert Lea with a nine-run fifth inning, then held on for a 13-9 win.

In the semifinals, St. Cloud topped Burnsville 10-7 to reach the championship game against Prior Lake.

The Blue Sox again would need a late rally to earn the win, and again they did not disappoint. Down 4-1 heading into the bottom of the sixth inning, the Sox scored three runs to tie the game at four. Cole Fuecker's two-run double was the game tying hit.

After allowing a run in the top of the seventh inning, the Sox used a triple and a pair of bunts to manufacture a pair of runs and earn the win. Adam Olson had the game-winning bunt.
