12-Year-Old Boy Hit by Car While Riding Bike

ST. CLOUD - A 12-year-old boy was hit by a car while riding his bike.

St. Cloud police say the incident happened at about 7:40 p.m. on Tuesday at the intersection of Cooper Avenue and 30th Street South.

Trace Piner of St. Cloud allegedly rode his bike into a car attempting to make a turn.  The driver of the car was 44-year-old Kevin Otremba of Sauk Rapids.  Piner was taken to St. Cloud Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

No charges will be filed.
