ST. CLOUD -- A dream many immigrants chase for was achieved this (Wednesday) morning at the River's Edge Convention Center.

A Naturalization Ceremony, presented by the U.S. District Court, swore in 112 individuals from 28 countries to make them full legal citizens.

Each applicant has fulfilled the requirements of being a resident of Minnesota for a minimum of three months, taken the classes and filled out the necessary forms.

After the ceremony, each individual was handed a certificate of citizenship and reminded as they start this next chapter in their lives to make the most of it.

This is the second year the convention center has hosted the event.
