ZION TOWNSHIP -- An 11-year-old boy was taken to the hospital after a two vehicle crash this (Monday) evening near Paynesville.

The incident happened at about 6:45 p.m. at the intersection of County Road 16 and County Road 33 in Zion Township.

The Stearns County Sheriff's Office says 30-year-old Miranda Thomes was heading north on County Road 33, when another vehicle, driven by 18-year-old Hunter Voss of Belgrade, stopped at a stop sign heading east, didn't see Thomes, entered the intersection and hit the vehicle.

Her passenger, Ryan Thomes of Paynesville, was taken to Paynesville Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Miranda Thomes and Voss were not hurt. The cause of the accident in under investigation.
