EAST BETHEL (AP) - A woman who drove drunk and killed two people on a motorcycle in Anoka County has been sentenced to a year in jail.

Paula Larson earlier pleaded guilty to two counts of criminal vehicular homicide in an agreement with the prosecution. A criminal complaint says the 43-year-old Bethel woman was intoxicated when her SUV collided with the motorcycle in East Bethel in September of last year.

Forty-eight-year-old John Jordan of St. Francis and 46-year-old Patricia Kalla of Big Lake were killed.  Judge Thomas Fitzpatrick stayed a 69-month prison sentence and ordered 10 years of probation for Larson.
