UPDATE: 1 Woman Dead, Ex-Husband In Custody in Todd County

LONG PRAIRIE - The Todd County Sheriff's Department has released more information on an alleged murder near Long Prairie.

Sheriff Peter Mikkelson says they found 58-year-old Nancy Willaims' body just before 4:00 p.m. yesterday (Thursday) at a home in Round Prairie Township, about six miles south of Long Prairie.  She appeared to have suffered a blunt force trauma.

Her ex-husband, 46-year-old Craig Williams of Long Prairie was at the scene and had been taken into custody.  He's being held at the Todd County Detention Center awaiting formal charges.

The Todd County Sheriff's Office and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension are investigating.
