The St. Cloud State Huskies were upset by Bemidji State 9-3 at Joe Faber Field Wednesday. The Beavers scored three runs in the top of the first inning to pace the victory.

The Huskies briefly cut the BSU lead to 3-1 on a Brian Hansen sacrifice fly to score Garrett Fischer, but the Beavers notched five runs in the top of the fifth for an 8-1 lead that would prove to be insurmountable.

SCSU was scheduled to play Concordia in the loser bracket at 7 PM on Wednesday, but the game was moved to Thursday at noon due to rainy weather.
