1 Dead in Shooting in Twin Cities Suburb

BLOOMINGTON (AP) - Police say a man has been fatally shot after an encounter with officers in the Twin Cities suburb of Bloomington.

Hennepin County sheriff's officials say Bloomington officers responded to a report of a suicidal person at a residence about 11 p.m. Thursday. The sheriff's department says that shots were fired and the man was pronounced dead at the scene. No officers were injured. And, authorities provided no other details.
