Canoe Team Reaches Arctic Ocean

A team from Minnesota and Iowa has completed a 5,200-mile canoe journey from the Gulf of Mexico to the Arctic. The six-member Rediscovering North America crew finished their 244-day expedition at noon Tuesday in the town of Kugluktuk, Nunavut, Canada.

Culvert Work On Sherburne County Road 3 Set To Begin

Construction will begin Monday on portions of County Road 3 in Sherburne County. Assistant County Engineer Dan Knapek says the centerline road culverts will be replaced on County Road 7 to County Road 20, County Road 23 to County Road 11 and County Road 11 to County Road 5.

Police: St. Cloud Toddler Dead After ‘Substantial’ Head Trauma

Police are investigating after a 22-month old St. Cloud boy died after suffering a head injury. Police say they were called to a home on Sunday at 12:50 p.m. at the 1300 Block of University Drive Southeast. The boy was found unresponsive due to a reported fall.
