The turkey hunting season still has 2 weeks remaining but the record for the most wild turkeys shot in the state of Minnesota has already been broken. Glen Schmitt from Outdoor News joined me on WJON. The DNR are reporting 14,472 turkeys harvested throughout all the turkey seasons this spring.

Downtown St. Cloud has positive momentum. That's the thought of St. Cloud Community Development Director Matt Glaesman. He says there are 27 new businesses open downtown and calls it "great news".

The St. Cloud Police Department are reporting a pair of stolen vehicles. The first one was on the 1200 block of 15th Street North. A 2018 silver sport Fusion was taken with Minnesota license NHC 604.

Tech High School is hosting an adapted or DAPE track and field event this Friday starting at 9:30 a.m. Approximately 100 DAPE students with various physical and cognitive disabilities will participate in events that include a softball throw, shot put, soccer kick, long jump, bowling ball toss, and high jump.
